This model aims at cost optimization and streamlining decision-making, and in this context is regarded as the most effective way to ensure good governance and company performance. 2-12 ROLE OF THE HIGHEST GOVERNANCE BODY IN OVERSEEING IMPACT MANAGEMENT Our Executive Committee plays a central role in defining and guiding our sustainability strategy, reviewing the organization’s strategic positioning on a semi-annual basis. This ensures the regular updating of key elements such as mission, values, strategy and objectives, to guarantee their alignment with current requirements and expectations regarding sustainable development. Regarding the oversight of due diligence processes and other mechanisms designed to identify our impacts on the economy, the environment and people, it is also the responsibility of the Executive Committee to ensure this analysis. This is conducted semi-annually, through the review of the organization’s various processes and their alignment with the previously defined strategic objectives. In addition, the Executive Committee reviews, with the same frequency, the effectiveness of the processes implemented. This review is based on the analysis of variances between the results achieved and the objectives set, carried out through meetings with the different teams of the organization, to ensure a cross-cutting and participatory approach.
