GRI 417: MARKETING AND LABELLING 2016
CONTENTS
417-1 REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCT AND SERVICE INFORMATION AND LABELLING Our product information and labelling procedures follow strict criteria, in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Although we do not systematically require the indication of the origin of product or service components, we ensure that labelling includes relevant information about content, particularly regarding products that may have an environmental or social impact.
We also guarantee that our products include clear instructions for safe use, contributing to user protection and compliance with current legal obligations.
As the entity responsible for labelling our products, we require compliance with all relevant legislation and standards, including REACH, RoHS, Food Contact, and other country- or sector-specific requirements. In addition, we request transaction certificates, certificates of origin whenever available, as well as supplier certifications such as the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), among others deemed relevant, reinforcing our commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability throughout the value chain. The purchasing requirements are documented in procedures PRD.006 – Purchasing and PRD.009 – Compliance. The management of non-conformities, complaints, corrective actions, and improvements is described in PRD.013 – Management of Non-Conformities, Complaints, Corrective Actions, and Improvement Actions. Inspection and quality control are carried out in accordance with PRD.001 – Inspection and Quality Control.
